Interesting Finds
Is there someone in your life that consistently drains your emotional energy every time you talk to them? You feel like you are taking crazy pills when engaging with this person? Maybe it's a family member, a coworker, a classmate, a neighbor, whatever...

Well, I'm about to change your life! The Gray Rock Method is a strategy for acting unresponsive or unengaged to stop abusive or toxic people from getting your reaction. Basically you act/respond as boring as a gray rock when talking to [enter annoying, crazy, draining person here].
This person is probably trying to get a rise out of you, get a reaction, pull you into their fucked up little world, whatever it might be --- but YOU are not going to go there, NOT TODAY SATAN! You might want to react or correct them or speak your mind, but instead you will simply nod, shrug, or respond with the most bland, disengaged, noncommittal comment ever. Guess what happens? That person loses interest in you, not getting what they wanted from you, and they go away. I mean, I'm simplifying it dramatically, but when I practice this regularly it makes me feel so much better!
Give it a try and save yourself the frustration of engaging with this energy vampire. THIS video briey explains what gray rock is a bit further & THIS short video gives some examples of responses / interactions.
Feel free to search on Google for longer or more detailed videos.

Happy Endings
I love THIS vulnerable post from Dan Harris (author of 10% Happier and meditation guru, Insta: @danharris) who experienced a panic attack, addressed it / got through it, then shared how he felt about the experience 24 hours later. It's worth the 3 min watch, especially the last 'swipe'. I needed to hear his point that: "Life is not going to be an unbroken upward trajectory of progress." (I KNOW this, but sometimes I am genuinely surprised by setbacks. Like, duh, Tracy!) As Dan would say, "Inner Peace, Mother Fuckers." p.s. REVIEW REMINDER: Yup, I'm going to keep asking until you do it, soooooo.... Please take 3 minutes to review Pretty Wrecked -- Click HERE to write a customer review on Amazon. Thx!

Love, Tracy
